Message	He does say he intends to do the occasional track day, so I see nothing wrong then with what he wants. I personally purchased and installed my first coilover before I ever went to the track, and it was a super stiff Tein Type-RA. See how far I've come since... if having a set of coilovers gives him the confidence to attend his first track day, then all the better IMHO Necessary? No. Overkill? 95% of the stuff we discuss on tt.net is overkill :)
